To try and find “a few words” to say what Prime Care and Dr. Martin have meant to me is impossible. I would need an entire website of my own. Dr. Martin is articulate, caring and constantly goes above and beyond what any other veterinarian would EVER do. I know that to be true because I’ve heard other people talk about health or behavioral problems that they are having with their pets and I ask them “What does your Vet say?” I am no longer surprised to hear that their vet really didn’t help them or that they were told nothing was wrong. Sadly, they found out much later that something really was wrong. I have recommended many people to Prime Care and lucky for them and their pets, they listened to me.

Our pets have gone through a litany of different medical and behavior problems, not the least of which was gastric lymphoma. Dr. Martin knew all of the best and latest treatments and what doctors should administer them. She never tired of answering my endless questions or minded if I needed to hear the same answer over and over again. For all that, I am eternally grateful.

She is an exceptional individual and I’m so glad I found her.

If after reading this you don’t call Prime Care then shame on you because don’t your pets deserve the best? Mine do and they get it from Prime Care and Dr. Martin.

On behalf of the Bowie Citizens for Local Animal Welfare (CLAW), I would like to formally thank you for your continued support and commitment to animal welfare.

Dr. Martin, you have assisted Bowie CLAW and our Pet Portrait fundraisers in so many ways I cannot list them all. You selflessly give up your Saturday afternoons to allow our organization to hold the Fundraisers in your own office. You take all the appointments for the portraits, rearrange the hospital to accommodate our photographer, rearrange your front office for the pets and families to get their picture taken, and you are always kind enough to make sure there are treats for the pets and their parents. It is clear you are a gracious and giving person. We know many of the pets who come for their portraits are you clients, and it is heartwarming to see them run to you for hugs and kisses. Animals know a kind person!

Finally, we want to also thank you for allowing Bowie CLAW to place a ï¿½pet foodï¿½ bin at Prime Care to collect food for our Pet Assistance and Support program. With your assistance, we have been able to help many families who are having a hard time caring for their pets in these difficult economic times.

Dr. Martin and the entire staff at Prime Care Animal Hospital are enthusiastic, attentive and passionate about the care of the animals. I have found Dr. Martin to be a thorough and sensitive caregiver that always takes the necessary time during appointments to make sure I understand what is happening and what needs to be done. Dr. Martin at Prime Care Animal Hospital is one of the most caring Veterinarians that I have ever met. I have had pets all of my life and worked in animal shelters and Veterinarian Hospitals for about 20 years. I am extremely picky about the Veterinarians that my babies go to.

I only recently found Dr. Martin about 9 months ago. I knew within five minutes that Dr. Martin was caring and compassionate about pets and their owners. I have a 12 lb. dog and a 110 lb. dog and she treats both of them almost as if they were her own. She always takes the time to make sure they are comfortable and to make sure that I as a pet owner understand everything that she says concerning the health and welfare of my pets. My dogs actually get excited when they go to see Dr. Martin. I have the utmost confidence that if I had to leave one of my pets for surgery, testing etc., they would be treated the same as if I were standing right there next to them. My days of searching for a kind and caring Veterinarian are over.
